NASR GENERAL CONTRACTING (HASSAN M. ALLAM) owns a history of proven track record to tackle the responsibility of the giant and the national priority demand projects in Egypt since it was founded on 1936. Over years hundreds of most vital and important projects were built, Hassan Allam has a unique and exceptional role in the construction field in Egypt.

The company which has undergone through changes influenced by the economic policies prevailed at certain times, has eventually by mid ninetieth became a joint stock company amid the country’s economic reform program towards the free market economy and privatization process .

The Holding Company For Construction and Development became the sole stockholder of the company and effectively form 1996 a new management took over the responsibility and immediately started a wide scale reform program and restructuring of the company’s organization with tight grip to curb the difficulties and place the company into a new high profile.

Efforts were fruitful in an outstanding achievement, higher performance and dedication to the company and the national interests as well.

The company over its great and outstanding achievements in the last seven years and the plenty of bridges executed , mainly the execution of Al Mirghany Bridge ( Accommodating a lane for Heliopolis Metro ) in a heavily populated district Heliopolis , only during 3 months have prompted the government to award the FIRST CLASS MEDAL OF MERIT.

The company's objective aims at supporting the state's economic reform program which would boost the national income and standards of living, the company management has made radical change to its policies and restructured its organization , reduced employees no. and raised the average production rate / labor.

Company Purpose:

The basic purpose of the company is to contribute in the development of the national economy according to the State's general policy concerning the reconstruction and development of integrated and new zones. The company is also carrying out contracting & construction works and other related works such as supplementary works, commercial, industrial, export and import business.

To achieve its objectives the company carries out the following works:

• All kind of construction, contracting and public works such as public buildings, housing, prefabricated units, factories, hospitals, hotels, civil and touristic buildings, utilities such as water plants, water treatment plants, elevated & ground tanks ,water & sewage networks.
• Electric networks, roads and ports paving, airports, construction of bridges and flyovers in over populated zones and over water obstacles by adopting high technology.
• Feasibility studies for projects by B.O.T
• Designs, engineering drawings related to construction and contracting works.
• Tender studies and feasibility studies for projects.
• The contribution in building materials of industrial projects and complementary works related to the company's works.

It should be pointed out that the company executes construction and buildings works of the first category according to the classification of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors.
